White House Common Sense Test Is Bassackwards

The White House admits it has no hard evidence that the Syrian government launched the alleged chemical weapons attack.

Instead, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough told the Associated Press “a common sense test” implicates the Syrian government.

Well, no, it doesn’t. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Chemical weapons attacks are signs of desperation. But Assad’s forces have recently gained the upper hand against rebels according to numerous sources.

In fact, the US was considering jumping into the Syrian civil war back in July when the tide began to turn. From July 18, 2013:

The U.S. is considering the use of military force in Syria, the country’s top general said Thursday.

Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he has provided President Barack Obama with options for military strikes in Syria, where the civil war has cost at least 93,000 lives.

Why would Assad risk US intervention by launching a chemical attack when he’s winning?

Answer: he wouldn’t. Or it doesn’t seem likely.

Common sense says he’d want to keep the US out of it.

On the other hand, a desperate rebel force might launch a chemical attack—even a false flag attack—in order push the US or the UN to action.

In Obama’s White House, common sense is as foreign as fiscal responsibility and Constitutional restraint.

Is Petraeus Taking Obama With Him?

Note:  This is a flight of fantasy. If anything in this post is later shown to conform reality, it’s pure coincidence.  Nor am I accusing Gen. Petraeus of any crime or of compromising of national security secrets. (Just enjoy it, will ya?)

A sex scandal rocks the king of spies.

An email chain unravels the Pentagon high command.

A cover-up exposed.

It's like the back cover of a Nelson DeMille novel.

Generals don’t forget they’re soldiers just because they crawl behind a desk.

david-petraeus-paula-broadwell-plane

Soldiers look out for each other.

General David Petrraeus’s nature is to have the back of every American in uniform. And every American assigned to some shit-hole consulate representing the USA.

When people under a general’s command die, the general dies a little with them. Maybe that’s why a fender-bender killed Patton at the end of WWII. He’d already absorbed a lot of blows by proxy.

So imagine David Petraeus’s fury at the Obama Administration’s handling of the Benghazi massacre. Good men left to die while the President raised money for his re-election.

Then the President’s people go on TV to blame to the CIA for the debacle.

“The f***ing gall!”

As pressure mounts from non-MSM journalists, and the White House continues to lie and stonewall, General Petraeus has had it. On October 26, Petraeus throws Obama under the bus by flatly contradicting Obama’s claim that the CIA gave the order to stand down in Benghazi.

Repercussions?  he thinks. Who cares. The Commander in Chief failed in his most basic duty, and the press is letting  him walk.

The media and Congressional Democrats didn’t give a damn about a few lives in Benghazi.  And there’s no way to get their attention on the matter. Even if Petraeus quit and shouted “cover-up” from the highest mountain, Brian Williams’s head is too far up Obama’s ass to hear a pound of C4 detonating 5 feet away.

paula-broadwell

And then comes the lady trouble.

Petraeus is smart enough to know that sex sells newspapers. And TV ads. Wrap a national security story inside a torrid affair with a ex-military hottie and a Tampa Troop Groupie and everybody suddenly knows everything about everything.

He knows that he and West Point graduate Paula Broadwell are going down at some point. Why not take the White House down with them?

So the general makes sure the mistress knows just enough about the Benghazi fiasco to rock the White House, but not enough to compromise sources, methods, or operations.

(There IS a new James Bond movie out, ya know.)

Tonight the FBI raided Broadwell’s house. They’re confiscating papers and computers—anything with a magnetic disk or SSD. They’re looking for classified information that Paula shouldn’t have.

Fox News reports that on October 26—the same day Patraeus contradicted the White House about Benghazi—Paula Broadwell may have included classified information about the attack in a speech in Colorado.

The White House, eager to destroy Petraeus, will leak all the nasty spy stuff they find on the little lady’s hard drives. Andrea Mitchell will breathlessly read the “secret” memos about that horrible night in September. Americans who through "Ben Ghazi" was a kid they sat begin in second grade, will learn all about the #7HoursOfHell.

(Did you know that Petraeus conducted his own investigation of Benghazi last month?)

Could It Be?

Could David Petraeus and Paula Broadwell have thrown themselves on a grenade to get the word out about Benghazi?

Regardless, Patraeus is ruined. But if this case ended as a complicated act of defiance over Benghazi, this affair could be his finest hour.

After all, they’re reporting on Benghazi now, aren't they?

When The Three O'Clock Call Came, Barack Obama Froze

The fog of war is lifting from Benghazi, and what lies beneath should shame Obama’s most ardent supporters. Barack Obama choked, and Americans died. obama_BloodHandsHope-80

When America came under attack, Obama panicked and froze.

When Americans under his direction pleaded for their lives, he was afraid to pull the trigger.

Here’s the emerging picture.

White House Ordered Military and CIA to Stand Down and Let Al Qaeda Kill

Former Navy SEALs Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, so disgusted by the White House’s refusal to help Americans under attack, defied an order to stand down. The heroes died after hours of valiant fighting against overwhelming odds. Woods and Doherty died doing what Barack Obama was politically afraid to order. Ty Woods and Glen Doherty laid down their lives for fellow Americans in violation of cowardly orders from the President of the United States to let Chris Stevens and Sean Smith die.

Two SEALs made the decision to ignore Washington’s cowardly order to “stand down” and let al Qaeda rape and pillage the US Consulate in Benghazi. Ty Woods and Glen Doherty moved in on the attack. Woods's father’s not surprised:

This news that he disobeyed his orders does not surprise me. My son was an American hero. And he was going--he had the moral strength to do what was right. Even if that would professionally cost him his job. Even if it would potentially cost him his life. He was a hero who was willing to do whatever was necessary to respond to their cries for help.

The White House then leaked the story that Woods died because he disobeyed a direct order. Obama’s reasoning for the leak was that Americans would turn against Woods and Doherty for the infraction. But Obama doesn’t know very much about the American mind.

Americans revere men and women who break the rules to do what’s right. We honor as heroes those who will risk career and life to save others, and to save America’s honor and prestige. The entire American Revolution was a violation of rules. The Boston Tea Party was a major felony.

When leadership fails, we expect new leaders to emerge. Ty Woods and Glen Doherty emerged as heroes because they violated the unconscionable, cowardly orders of an unfit President.

White House Ordered the Illegal Arrest of the anti-Mohammed Filmmaker

Almost immediately after the story broke, the White House invented “Muslim Rage” over a YouTube video to cover the President’s failure. To a degree, it worked. Muslims throughout the Middle East took to the streets to protest in response to Barack Obama’s instigation.

But let’s be clear about this: the Muslim rage was fomented by Barack Obama, not by a video.

And the President had his scapegoat arrested until after the election. According to Front Page Magazine:

The father of Tyrone Woods, the ex-Navy SEAL killed in Benghazi, met with Obama and Clinton. And he reports that Clinton told him that they were going to “arrest and prosecute” the man behind the Mohammed movie.

There would be no reason for Clinton to have that information unless the decision did not come from the level of the Federal prosecutor in California, thousands of miles away, but from the White House and the State Department. That makes this a political prosecution and a direct attack by the government on Freedom of Speech by Obama and Hillary Clinton.

So frightened by his own failure to help dying Americans, Barack Obama took to the last refuge of a dictator, rounding up political prisoners to serve as scapegoats. Mark Basseley Youssef, the filmmaker, is Barack Obama’s Alfred Drefus.

White House and Leon Panetta Lied

Leon Panetta told reporters that the US military lacked the means and intelligence to intervene during the Benghazi attack.

He lied.

We also learned that, in those first moments of the attack, a request for military back-up was made by U.S. staff on the ground but was denied by Washington. It had planes and Special Forces less than 500 miles away in southern Italy – or about the same distance as Washington to Boston. They could have been there in less than two hours. Yet the commander-in-chief declined to give the order.

Barack Obama let Americans die because he wanted to be re-elected.

White House Attempts to Blame Cowardly Orders on CIA. Petreaus Turns on Obama

Yesterday’s White House story was that the CIA ordered Ty Woods and his security crew to stand down and let Chris Stevens die. Obama expected CIA chief, David Petreaus, to be a good German soldier and back-up the lie.

Petreaus refused to accept the White House smear. In a statement, Petreaus refuted Obama, saying, “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”

Obama will fire Petreaus, of course, and replace him with some incompetent but loyal apparatchik. Undoubtedly, Obama’s Ministry of Propaganda will leak lies about some hideous flaw in Petreaus’s character. That’s what dictators do.

Americans Must Right These Wrongs

The people of the United States must right five wrongs. (Six if you count electing Barack Obama in the first place.)

1.  Obama failed to protect Americans sent into harms way.

2. Obama failed to respond to pleas from Americans under attack when he had the means to do so.

3. Obama jailed a man for his political beliefs.

4. Obama lied to cover up his deadly failures.

5. Obama attempted to smear the true heroes of this affair.

When the President fails, his board of directors fails, too. And we are the President’s board.

It’s our job to right this wrong, and just voting him out of office is not enough. The Romney Administration and the next Congress must expose Obama’s anti-American.

This is now our failure to fix. We failed as free citizens by electing Barack Obama and a compliant Congress in 2008. If we re-elect Obama, we will miss our opportunity for redemption.

Vote for Romney. Vote Republican.

Is the Romney Campaign Serious About Winning?

The Romney Campaign today reminded me of the McCain Campaign of 2008. I'm pretty good at ignoring bogus, fraudulent polls like the one CNN released tonight. In that poll, CNN announced a massive 52-46 national lead for Obama. If true, the race would be all but over.

CNN, of course, cooked the books on this one.

About one-third of voters describe themselves as independents, CNN sampled only 3% independents for its latest poll.  Out of nearly 1,000 voters, only 37 described themselves as independents.

CNN just flat out lied.

But that fraudulent poll could prove true if Team Romney doesn't get its head in the game.

In an internal memo, the Romney people indicated that people will wise up at the last minute before the election and put Mitt into office.

The reality of the Obama economy will reassert itself as ultimate downfall of the Obama presidency, and Mitt Romney will win this race.

McCain believed, in September 2008, that Obama's lack of experience would "reassert" itself. McCain was wrong.

A Last-Minute Strategy Won't Help If You're Behind

Here's why Romney's last-minute strategy will fail if he tries it: uninformed voters always break with the majority.

This conclusion comes from scientific studies of fish, but the studies apply to human behavior as well. Further, the studies show why small, vocal groups can exert heavy influence among informed voters, but can do little among the less informed voters---such as show up during Presidential elections.

“A strongly opinionated minority can dictate group choice,” the research team wrote in its report, published in Thursday’s edition of the journal Science. “But the presence of uninformed individuals spontaneously inhibits this process, returning control to the numerical majority.” (source: chronical.com)

What that means is that the least informed, undecided voters will break for the candidate CNN tells them is going to win.  That's how CNN's lies can influence the outcome of elections.

If Romney really wants to win the White House, he better establish a solid lead nationally and in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Colorado---fast.

Here's What You Can Do

Look, we can't influence what Mitt Romney does. He's paying a lot of establishment consultants to figure out a strategy.  But if the establishment blows this race, we still need to show some results.

The best thing we can do is to get out the vote of people who think like we do. I'm not talking about tea partiers; I"m talking about the majority who believe that rights come through nature from God to people, and that government's just powers come from the people alone.

Plus we can get out the vote of people who believe that government debt is bad for us and for future generations.

We can get out the vote of people who believe Obama's cure for the economy is worse than the disease.

We can get out the vote by working with candidates we like. Better yet, we can get out the vote working with St. Louis Tea Party Coalition and the Madison Project. We'll be announcing the location of our office this week, and Saturday will be our first door-knocking round. (We'll need YOU)

Start tonight by attending the Winning Tea Party Strategies meeting at The Pillar of the Valley in Chesterfield.  RSVP  on Facebook and bring one other person.

While you're there, RSVP for the September After Party and bring 2 friends to that.

Part 2: Here Is Todd Akin’s Real Crime

Breakdown of political party representation in... Part 2 of 3 | Read Part 1 | Read Part 3

What is Todd's real crime?

He's a damaged candidate, sure, but he is not a damaged man.

He was wrong, but he erred on the side of life.

It says something about a society and political mood where a man can be disqualified for loving life and God, but another man celebrated for enabling the slaughter of living children with surgical scissors through the base of their skulls.

No, Todd Akin isn't perfect, nor perfectly informed.  Neither are the 100 Senators seated. The last candidate sold to us as perfect is the son of a bitch occupying the White House right now.

Did I want Todd to drop?  Yes. But my wish wasn't for some high political or moral reasons; it was the easiest result for me.  It was convenient for me.  It was the default, selfish choice for me.  For me, for Romney, for Marco Rubio, for the GOP, Todd Akin's candidacy is an inconvenient pregnancy we're all too willing to surrender to the political abortionist's vacuum.

Yes, Todd Akin was wrong.  Scientifically and rhetorically wrong.  He erred on the side of life.  He loves life to a flaw, and he's not ashamed to say it out loud.

If that's the worst candidate for Senate we can produce, then the republic is in fine shape.

Obama’s Contempt for the Rule of Law

When he identified the three branches of government as President, House, and Senate, obama-lgWas Chuck Schumer confused, or did he accurately state the Obama administration’s intent to subjugate the Judicial Branch of government?  It seems the White House no longer considers the Judicial Branch the equal of the Executive.

In two cases—the Gulf oil drilling ban and Obamacare—the White House refuses to obey ruling from federal judges.  In New Orleans, federal judge Martin Feldman found the White House in contempt for its re-imposition of oil drilling bans after his previous ruling to the contrary.  Meanwhile, the government has refused to obey a Florida judge’s declaratory relief ruling over Obamacare.

It’s not unusual for dictators to simply ignore court orders they don’t like.  But it’s very unusual in the United States. It indicates to me that the era of Constitutional government is over as citizens can no longer rely on injunctive relief from tyranny.

A decade ago, Barack Obama told Chicago Public Radio the believes the U.S. Constitution “is a fundamentally flawed document.”  In that interview, he expressed his further belief that radicals who attempted to undermine the Constitution through the courts were misguided.

Today we’re learning Obama’s preferred method of ending Constitutional law: naked aggression.

Soon, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear and rule on the Constitutionality of Obamacare. Many observers believe the court will find the individual mandate unconstitutional.  Based on his previous contempt for the rule of law, we have no reason to believe Obama would obey the Supreme Court’s ruling.

It’s 1978 All Over Again **UPDATE: Thaddeus McCotter Agrees With Me**

The news might seem unimportant to us in the USA:

Day after day they marched, tens of thousands strong, defiant chanting demonstrators surging through the streets of Cairo, a capital unaccustomed to the shouts and echoes of dissent. The subject of their protest was the policies of Egypt’s supreme ruler, Hosni Mubarak. Some carried signs demanding his ouster. Others called for a return of long denied civil and political liberties and the enforcement of Islamic laws.

Except I changed a few words.  I replaced “Tehran” with “Cairo”, “Iran” with “Egypt”, and “Mohammed Reza Pahlavi” with “Hosni Mubarak.”  The paragraph above is from Time Magazine’s cover story on turmoil in Tehran from September, 1978. Read more: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,916373,00.html#ixzz1CN3AbsVh

The Obama White House response to anti-government turmoil in Egypt today parallels Jimmy Carter’s vacillating and indecisive response to Iran 33 years ago. Carter, who praised the Shah in 1977, seem lost for a response to turmoil in 1978, and joined the world in criticizing the Shah after the fall.

That’s courage.

Here’s how events unfolded as the Shah—a bulwark against both Soviet domination and radical Islam in Southwest Asia—faced exile or death:

Even by late 1978 few people in the Carter administration, including the American embassy staff in Teheran,20 seemed to know much about the leaders or directions of the revolution. Khomeini’s violent ideas and extraordinarily anti-American, anti-Zionist views apparently had not yet registered. U.S. policy appears to have straddled both sides. For example:

—Shortly after the Shah declared martial law, President Carter called him to voice support.

—Yet in October, after weeks of daily reports sent back to Washington on events in Iran, Ambassador William H. Sullivan "could detect neither high-level concern nor any comprehensive attitude toward the events that were in progress."

—On 4 November 1978, as rioters spread fires across Teheran, destroying banks, theatres, and the British embassy, security advisor Brzezinski called the Shah from the Iranian embassy in Washington to express his assurance that the United States would "back him to the hilt."

—Concurrently, certain high-level State Department officials evidently had concluded that the Shah was the major problem in Iran and that he had to go regardless of who replaced him.

—Energy Secretary James Schlesinger (a previous Defense Secretary in the Ford administration) argued that the Shah had to be saved, and proposed a U.S. show of force in the Indian Ocean.

—Late in December President Carter seems to have agreed, dispatching the aircraft carrier Constellation to the Indian Ocean. Then, possibly out of concern over risk to the carrier, the President countermanded his own order.21

Thus, as time ran out for the Shah and for Washington, the Carter administration split between supporting the monarch, dumping him, or riding out the storm. Events, not policy, now determined American responses in Southwest Asia.

Last week, White House spokesman Gibbs refused to support Mubarak publically.

Today, a world long caught up in economic turmoil turned its attention to turmoil in Cairo. We should be scared, because the Obama Administration has no plan. The White House, we learned, has not contacted Mubarak since the crisis began.

It’s as if Obama had no idea there was an Egypt.

If Egypt falls to radicals, the Suez Canal will close.  Israel will face extinction. Oil and gasoline prices will soar, possibly to $200 a bbl and $8.00 a gallon, respectively.  The nascent and weak recovery would quickly turn to economic depression.

**UPDATATE** US Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (one of my favorites) issued a statement tonight to that begins brilliantly:

The Egyptian demonstrations are not the equivalent of Iran's 2009 Green Revolution.  The Egyptian demonstrations are the reprise of Iran's 1979 radical revolution.  Thus, America must stand with her ally Egypt to preserve an imperfect government capable of reform; and prevent a tyrannical government capable of harm.

Yeah, yeah, you bleeding hearts will criticize Mubarak.  But if Mubarak falls, you will see horrors that have been hitherto unimaginable.

And still this idiot in the White House is incapable of formulating a policy.  As was said of Carter's dealings with Iran in 1978, events, not policy, will determine American response to what happens in Egypt.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

***UPDATE II*** Michelle Malkin has another angle: the people must be heard. True, but these protests seem eerily like Tehran 1978.  Don't assume this will end well--for the oppresses liberals in Egypt or for the world.

Is Obama Using SEIU to Terrorize Citizens?

Interesting.   Mounting evidence suggests the White House may have been complicit in SEIU’s terrorism (as defined by U.S. Patriot Act) of a banker’s teenage son

seiu-meeting[1]

Quit the SEIU.  No decent person would belong to an organization that openly, and with the federal government’s approval, uses terrorism to get its way.

Quit the DC Metro Police Force.  The President is using you to promote domestic terrorism.  Fight him—the real enemy.

Finally, is there anything more hypocritical and disgusting than a healthcare worker who joins the SEIU?  I suppose they use their thugs to drum up business. Sinful.

Read a great book on criminal history of the SEIU and its leaders: Devil at My Doorstep.
