Who Killed the American Job Machine

Maureen Dowd’s having trouble slathering make-up on her favorite pigs these days. Her President—the man for whom she surrendered all pretense of intelligence, wisdom, and self-control—is flailing. maureen_dowd_x200And Maureen Dowd is going all wobbly.  Wobbly on Obama. Wobbly on America.  Wobbly on life.  Here’s an exceprt:

On the razor’s edge of another recession; blocked at every turn by Republicans determined to slice him up at any cost; starting an unexpectedly daunting re-election bid; and puzzling over how to make a prime-time speech about infrastructure and payroll taxes soar, maybe President Obama is wishing that he had thrown the game.

Maureen Dowd makes a big mistake in blaming Obama alone for America’s jobless carnival of mayhem.  It’s not all his fault.

Let’s not make the same mistake made by Dowd and her friends.  Barack Obama did not wreck the American Job Machine.

His Democrat Party did.

Face it.  When the Democrats took overwhelming control of Congress in 2007, unemployment was 5.5 percent.  When John Boehner pried the Speaker’s gavel from Nancy Pelosi’s dry, cold claw, unemployment stood at 9.9 percent.  (Source)

That’s a 44.4% increase in the unemployment number.

For two years, Democrats controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House.  What did they do with that power?

They created a new entitlement.  Even after admitting that the existing spending programs were unsustainable, Democrats invented yet another new entitlement.

Sure, George W. Bush and the Tom Delay Republicans had their problems.  But they’re not around THIS TIME.

We are living under a 100 percent Democrat economy now. The GOP’s grasp on 1/2 of  1/3 of the government can’t undo 4 years of Democrat damage.

We have a Democrat in the White House and Democrats running the Senate.  It’s not the Republicans in the House preventing Obama from moving the economy forward; it’s the Democrats in the Senate and White House frightening natural risk-takers into keeping their job-creating money in their pockets.

I can see only one solution to the continuing unemployment nightmare facing people in America. That’s to finish the work started in 2010 by turning over the Senate and the White House.

Simply Staggering

DRUDGE REPORT 2011® The federal budget deficit in the month of February 2011 exceeds the deficit for all of 2007 by 40 percent.

Simply staggering.

Yet Senate Democrats refuse to cut more than a paltry $6 billion. They refuse because they seem bent on collapsing the American system – the economy, the government, and the people themselves.

But at least the Obama administration stands by with its arms folded as gasoline prices skyrocket at the their fastest pace in history.

Democrats Favor Terrorists Over Constituents

I hyperbolize now and then, but not this time.

Democrats in the House and Senate voted to encourage criminal prosecution of Americans who report suspicious activity (Gateway Pundit). Do you know how difficult it is to formulate a more dramatic representation of that fact than the fact itself (Discerning Texan)?

I hate Democrats. Yeah, I know, you're not supposed to "hate" anyone. But Democrats are anti-American ass hats. They breed socialism. They hate good. They love evil. My next book will be re-titled "101 ways to kill a Democrat." I hate them, I hate them, I hate them. May they die painful deaths and burn in hell for eternity.

Democrats want to put you in jail for turning in Muslim terrorists.

It's against the law to attempt to stop an act of terrorism.

Democrats are terrorists.

It's against the law to try to stop Democrats.

America: free no more.

Hillary Hysterium

Senator Clinton asked the Pentagon to describe its plans to withdraw from Iraq. The Pentagon—specifically, undersecretary of defense, Eric Edelman—replied in the most appropriate manner imaginable:

Premature and public discussion of the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq reinforces enemy propaganda that the United States will abandon its allies in Iraq, much as we are perceived to have done in Vietnam, Lebanon and Somalia

In response, Ms. Clinton displayed the kind of hysterium one associates with under-medicated paranoid schizophrenics. Clinton ranted and screamed. Perhaps Ms. Clinton's marriage has made her hypersensitive to the issue of premature withdrawal.

Edelman was, of course, right. Democrats are providing the enemy all the ammunition they can load in the psychological warfare department. Ms. Clinton, who claimed in 2003 that evidence known to her during her husband's presidency justified war with Iraq, has joined the rest of the Democrat party in its subversion of the US Army. Democrats want America to lose, because Democrats seek the destruction of the United States.

What Ms. Clinton's hissy fit has accomplished is two-fold: she's set back the American war effort while setting back the cause of a woman President. While any "male" Democrat might have shown hysterium like Hillary's, people would have passed it off as a Democratic tantrum. When a woman does it, people think, "what do you expect?"
